BMS takes 20 companies to Andina Pack in November
The plastic and packaging sector show is one of the largest in Latin America.
On November 19-22, twenty Brazilian companies in the machinery & equipment sector for the plastics and packaging industry will be present at Andina Pack, in Bogota (Colombia), one of the largest trade shows in Latin America for this sector. The action is supported by the Brazil Machinery Solutions Program (BMS), the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Brazilian Association of the Machinery and Equipment Industry (ABIMAQ).
The event will be attended by companies from the Sectoral Chambers of Machines and Accessories for the Plastics Industry and Machines and Equipment for Engraving, Printing, Finishing and Conversion – CSMAIP and CSMEG. These sectors have moved over $95.5 million in 2018 in product exports. During the show, the companies supported by BMS will be located between Hall 18 and 23, in booths number 2009 A, 2209, and 2003 A.
In 2017, BMS brought 17 manufacturers to Andina Pack, which reached over $11.8 million in sales at the show and business prospects over the next 12 months. The contacts were made mainly with Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia.
“Andina Pack is one of the oldest events on our calendar, always offering interesting opportunities for Brazilian companies. We see the Latin American market as one of the main business targets for Brazilian machinery and equipment,” explained Patrícia Gomes, Chief Executive Officer for Foreign Markets at ABIMAQ and manager of BMS.
